Our Graduate Hiring Process: Have a look at the profiles we are looking for and apply online. Your application will be screened within 10 days and, if pre-selected, you will be invited to a half-day Career Day at Euroclear in Brussels. Your expenses for attending the Career Day will be covered. During that day, you will do interviews and a test, and learn more about Euroclear. If the Career Day is positive, you will receive a job offer the following day.

"It's a friendly, respectful and collaborative place to work. People are helpful and eager to share their knowledge. It's a challenging and energizing environment, never boring and a lot of fun as well.

I really enjoy coming to work and embrace the daily challenges alongside people who have different backgrounds and cultures. There is a real "we can do it" mindset. Everyone can share their perspective and work together toward a solution.

In my current role I have a team of 5 members and each of us, including myself, has a different primary mother tongue, different background, age and nationality. I like to think of us as the "Guardians of the HR Technology Roadmap“. Each of us have their unique "power“ skills and knowledge and uses these skills to maintain the whole HR Cloud infrastructure safe. This gives me and my colleagues a genuine sense of purpose in our work."

What advice would you give to a graduate to join Euroclear?

"I think it's very important to enjoy what you do and be in an environment where you can grow, flourish, and express yourself in your work. You don't have to know everything. Stay open to try something new. Sometimes you need to be patient and keep on trying. Adapting is an important aspect: processes are changing and systems are constantly evolving. I think the skills you will need tomorrow are not in a particular programming language or field, but in the curiosity to learn and explore. So be prepared to learn and explore.

Euroclear is a great place to start your IT career. As you develop your career, you will be given the necessary support from those around you to thrive in a modern, flexible and innovative environment!"

"Hi, my name is Frank, I am from the United States. I’m married to a Dutch woman, I have two children at university. I have lived in Europe for thirty years in total. Mine is not a typical Technology career path. I’ve had many careers in my working life. Technology is actually my third career!"

What attracted me to Euroclear?

"Euroclear is probably much more significant and important than you would be inclined to think given the size of the organisation. We have a unique challenge to shape a world class architecture for a company with a unique position in the financial industry, that of a financial market infrastructure.

The fact that Euroclear is going through a major transformation and that the organisation realises that it needs to change to be successful was also very attractive. Our CTO knows that he needs a strong architecture function and I wanted to be part of that journey and at the same time accompany the company’s journey towards a more digital architecture. It’s quite exciting from my perspective!

The type of expectation I have for my team, is for them to be proactive, to be sensitive to the conditions we have in our organisation, to overcome obstacles, to drive an architecture agenda that has the best outlook and intention for the Euroclear organisation as a whole.

Why should you join the enterprise architecture function? To be honest we’re actually a very big catalyst for change. I think the condition for success that Euroclear is putting itself in, in terms of preparing for the transformation, makes the enterprise architect function very exciting.There’s nothing but a great future for this position in Euroclear."
